Crisis management

New challenges in risk situations

The technology of IAPsolutions is directed at solving problems during crisis management when data are merged, and different tools and sources of information are integrated; it provides a geographical and text presentation of the merged data. This line of research is financed by IMADE in the PIE program. Our work scheme is classed in three systems:

• A system supporting the analysis, risk assessment and planning

• A system that handles the support functions of the operation once a crisis event has been detected (control and communication system)

• A system that facilitates the final assessment of the crisis event and ensures the re-alimentation for later phases of analysis and assessment.
