Smart Grid Technology is nowadays gaining more relevance in the market. The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in Europe and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in United States, demonstrate it with their different works.

Based on theIAPIAS (Integrated Alarm System)IAPsolutions has implanted this solution in Libya’s water operating company, GMMRA.
The project was lead by Telvent the partner and integrator of IAPsolutions, and also by the local integrator Al-Nahar. Implantation of the project took 6 months in the course of 2009. The application consists in the management of the company’s infrastructure, including its transportation networks (SDH, MPLS), IP networks (GbEth), voice switchboards and energy networks.
